NOPE -Video Animation

A motion design study reimagining the title sequence for Jordan Peele’s Nope. This animatic plays with tension, pacing, and scale using typography, atmosphere, and sound cues to build suspense before the first scene ever hits. Created in After Effects, the sequence focuses on minimal motion with maximum mood, paying homage to the film’s eerie stillness and wide-open fear.

NOPE Title Sequence – Process Animatic
For this project, I reimagined the title sequence of Nope by Jordan Peele. I began by sketching key scenes as artboards to establish mood, pacing, and visual direction. After finalizing the rough frames, I scanned them and arranged the sequence digitally to create a cohesive animatic that captures the eerie, suspenseful tone of the film.
